Share Registrars Limited is a CREST registrar – in 2004 we were the first new entrant into this market for a number of years. Share Registrars was established to provide a professional and personal service to clients, advisors, brokers and shareholders.
For over six years MSP Secretaries Limited provided share registration services to small and medium sized companies off CREST in its own right and on CREST through its 50% interest in Melton Registrars Limited. However, in 2003 following consolidation in the share registration market MSP Secretaries formed Share Registrars for the provision of such services to its clients. Share Registrars now has over 220 client companies. By number of share registers managed we are the largest registrar of Plus Quoted companies and the third largest registrar of AIM companies.
The growth in our client base has been mainly organic and based on personal recommendation. However, in 2007 we were pleased to welcome the clients of Park Circus Registrars when that company decided to withdraw from the share registration business.
MSP Secretaries is one of the largest professional firms of Chartered Secretaries and provides company secretarial, payroll and other statutory services to well over 1,000 companies. This connection enables Share Registrars to provide a professional service and not just a basic share registration service.
The Managing Director of Share Registrars is Peter Ronayne ACA who is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years commercial experience, including 7 years heading the company secretarial department of a listed company and 12 years in the share registration business.
Peter is supported by other professionally qualified and experienced staff from a wide range of commercial backgrounds, including John Stuttaford FCIS, Director, David Turtle, Senior Client Manager and Sarah Tapp, Client Manager.
